Garlic Mustard Project

The conceptual design for the sign frame and boot brush assembly was brought to BEST-EXhibits by The Nature Conservancy and the University of Wisconsin Extension. BEST-EXhibits worked with their concept, and the educational exhibit consisting of a sign frame and a custom boot brush assembly was created. Install an educational panel about the invasive species - Garlic Mustard - into the aluminum sign frame, and you have an eye-catching, educational, and beneficial exhibit which teaches as well as aids in the transmittance of garlic mustard seed by foot traffic. This exhibit has been placed throughout the states of Wisconsin, Illinois, Indiana, and Michigan, and Minnesota, where garlic mustard has invaded woodland areas.

The all aluminum sign frame is the BEST-EXhibits design, with a durable black texture powder coat finish. The boot brush assembly is also durable powder coated aluminum, and comes with one set of boot brushes installed. Replacement brushes are readily available on-line when needed. The standard exhibit is mounted to two treated wood posts provided by the customer. BEST-EXhibits also has the Wisconsin version of the Garlic Mustard sign panel available. The panel has a 5 year warranty, and is printed in color on FRP. Please call for more information or pricing on this exhibit package.

Over the past few years, the installation of the sign frame and boot brush assembly has been a great Boy Scout or Eagle Scout project. Please call us and we can discuss your project, and how we may be able to help you with samples for fund raising.
