Exhibit Bases
Exhibit Bases for BEST EXhibits Sign Frames or Bulletin Cases
BEST-EXhibits bases pair with sign frames or bulletin cases and will have at least four holes to assemble the units using supplied drive rivets or appropriate hardware. Exhibit base leg(s) are shipped unassembled, along with the sign frame or bulletin case, which the customer then assembles and installs at their location.
* = When used with a frame, this selection of exhibit bases was formally known as the NPS-Style. The National Park Service revised their design standards, details can be found in the VIS & Wayside Hardware Specification Manual.
We have the capability to produce exhibits to both standards, please contact us for a custom quote.

Exhibit Base Options
Post with Plate Exhibit Base
Our standard frame can be mounted to an aluminum “Post with Plate”. Post are constructed of 3” square (standard) or 2”x4” rectangular aluminum extrusion with a welded plate which is attached directly to the aluminum back plate of the frame with supplied hardware. They are finished to match the frame and give a slightly more formal look to your exhibit.

Cantilever Exhibit Base *
The Cantilever Exhibit Base is the preferred low-profile exhibit base. Constructed of 2×4 aluminum extrusion, the design is simple and unobtrusive. The frame is displayed between the two posts. This base is used with frames which are typically 18” to 24” high. Common sign widths are 24”, 36” and 42”.

Sled Base Exhibit Base
A Sled Base Exhibit Base is an alternate mounting solution for the cantilever design. Constructed of 2×4 aluminum extrusion, the posts are 30” tall and have a fully welded framework connection between the posts. This base is used with frames which are typically 18” to 24” high. Common sign widths are 24”, 36” and 42”.

Traditional Exhibit Base *
This is the original low-profile exhibit base. Constructed of 2×6 and 2×4 aluminum extrusion, the legs are wider than the cantilever, and extend from the center line of the frame. The frame is displayed between the two posts. This base is used with frames which are typically 18” to 24” high. Common sign widths are 24”, 36” and 42”.

Upright Exhibit Base *
Upright Exhibit Bases have several mounting options. Constructed of 2×4 aluminum extrusion, they can be mounted as a single frame with a post on each side, a line of frames, or a cluster of frames. These can be in a cluster of 3, 5, or more frames. You can even use these frames back-to-back for a 2-sided exhibit.

Portable Weighted Exhibit Base
The Portable Weighted Exhibit Base is an alternate mounting solution for the upright-style design. Constructed of 2×4 aluminum extrusion and plate, the locking “weight box” is designed to hold sand, and has 2 wheels making it a quick and easy portable Exhibit Base.
